I'll go p0ke around and find the QWK line setting...

This message is coming from my Mystic board (on port 2300). The Default Origin I have configured should be appended to the bottom of it.

Thats what I'd originally thought - but I DO have origin lines setup, so... HMMMM. Maybe QWK doesn't like my 'l33tsp34k' tagline? Maybe I'll try something w/o special chars - but that don't make sense.

What do you have for your "Default Origin" under Configuration ->
    Message Base Settings?

OK - I might not have that set, but I DO have origin lines for the DoveNET Message Areas... I'll give that a l00k, tho - thanks!

... And I have the Default Origin set, too. Odd...

Definitely odd, so let's look a little further,

When you look at your message bases via: mystic -cfg > Editors > Message Base Editor > <any Dovenet area>, what does it say on the right side under "Network"? Does it say "QWKNet" for all of them?

Then, when you edit one of those (take Dovenet - General, for example), what do you have under:

    Base Type:
    Net Address:
    Origin:
    QWK Network:
    QWK Base ID:

If QWK Network = None, keep reading..

Just making sure some of the important stuff in relation to QWK networking matches what I have on my working setup. It may be something simple like specifying a fake net address (or creating an echomail address entry as 0:0/0) even though it's QWK networked:

in 'mystic -cfg > Networking > Echomail Addresses', do you have an entry for Dovenet (even if it's 0:0/0, at least you're specifying a domain and description)? If not, and all of the above mentioned stuff checks out, try making one with this info:

    Address
    Zone 0
    Net 0
    Node 0
    Point 0
    Domain dovenet
    Description Dovenet
    Primary No

Then you would change every Dovenet area to use:

    QWK Network: Dovenet

It's probably something simple (and hopefully the above is the case, or I'm probably going to be scratching my head, too), where everything in regards to QWK networking still works, but maybe it's treating it as a local message base, instead (which then doesn't append a tear/origin line). Just need to find the odd switch that changes that.

    Regards,
    Nick

Super sorry I don't already know this - what do I need to add? I'm
assuming like the FTN tagline on DoveNet Message Areas?

mystic -cfg > Configuration > Message Base Settings > Default Origin

.. and if that's already set, maybe it only uses that for FTN, rather than QWKNet links. Then set it manually for each QWKNet area:

    mystic -cfg > Editors > Message Base Editors > <all dovenet areas> > Origin
